Diplodacytylus ciliaris aberrans

This is possibly in a new genus Strophurus.  And it could be known as the Spiny-tailed Gecko

This gecko is in a group of 11 taxa.

They are mostly nocturnal but may sunbathe in low sunlight.

In Western Australia they are found  in the south-western Kimberley region south to Lake Yeo.

Photographed at the Alice Springs Desert Park

They are mostly arboreal which means they climb.

They have spines over their eye.

They are egg laying.

Spinifex would be a natural plant they would climb.

 What do they eat?

I have not been able to find out what they eat in the wild.
