Honeymoon Rd, Harvey in July. It had purple colourings. |
Gleneagle State forest, Albany Hwy, Darling Range in June. This fungus also had purple colourings. It measured 7cmw x 5cmh. It was growing in pea gravel at the base of a reed. Its cap was slimy. You can see the gills in the photo on the right. |

Stacey's Track, Jarradale old growth forest in July. This purple fungus was old and had been nibbled on. It measured 6.4cmw x 7cmh and was growing on pea gravel and leaves next to a jarrah tree. The gills were white and the stalk had a purple tinge. |

These slimy fungi were seen at Jandakot Regional Park, Perth suburbs, in June. |
Harris Dale Swamp, Jandakot, Perth. One measured 3cm w x 4cm h and there were 5 growing near banksia trees. |

In darker lighting conditions we sometimes have to use a torch to photograph which can alter the colour of the fungi slightly.
