Jarradale old growth in June. There was one fungus growing in a hole, it may have been attached to a buried branch. It was a fawn colour and it had gills. It measured 4cmw x 4cmh |
Bungendore Park, Albany Hwy, Perth in July. There were 8 of these fungi growing a the base of a jarrah tree. One measured 12cmw x 4.5cmh. They had white gills.

Gleneagle State forest, Albany Hwy, Perth in June. There was one and it measured 12cmw x 8cmh. It had bumps on the cap and it was at the base of a paperbark tree in a swampy area. |

In darker lighting conditions we sometimes have to use a torch to photograph which can alter the colour of the fungi slightly. |
