Magnificent/Splendid Tree frog of Western Australia
 
Litoria splendida

 

This frog has a large gland on its head.

Males are approx up to 100mm in length from snout to vent and females are larger at approx 106mm in length.

This frog is closely related to the Green Tree Frog.   See our page on this frog.

These frogs are found in the Kimberley south to the Bungle Bungles where we think we have heard this frog at night at the campground in August.

The Magnificent Tree frog lives in caves and rock crevices and can also be found in toilets.

 What does this frog eat?

I am unsure of what this frog eats.

I would show you a video of these guys but they are just sitting there.
